I have visited Ireland 2 or 3 times in my life, again mainly because of My uncle Tom. He was a Chaplin of Trinity Collage in Dublin and would often fly over from Australia to give lectures and attend seminars, any time he was in Ireland we would visit. He also had a house in Hoath that eventually would be left to the family.
When my uncle Tom pass he was in Australia, his ashes were brought back by my father, (I never made the trip, it was my final exams at Uni, its been a huge regret of mine but Im sure he would be more happy that i stayed and finished uni. I am determined to vist Australia and St Kilda Bay at some point in my life. He was given a final resting service in Dublin in early 2004 and that is the last time I have visited.
I loved Dublin it’s one of the happiest cities in the world, expensive but metropolitan yet steep in history and tradition. With the best crack and black velvet soop
